No Man’s Sky isn’t done evolving. Hello Games updated its survival game on Wednesday with the Voyagers update, which brings large, customizable ships to No Man’s Sky, inviting players to decorate their ships with their friends while traveling at warp speeds.

“We call them Corvettes, huge ships with hulls, wings, landing gear, cockpits, engine parts, thrusters and more — arranged to your own unique sci-fi design,” Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray said in a news release announcing the update. He touts them as having “real interiors” that include sleeping quarters and med bays, among many other customizable sections.

The Corvette ships come “a little way into the game.” Players who have been with No Man’s Sky for some time will have no problem unlocking their new homes among the stars. Newer players can get a taste of the update via a Corvette expedition “specifically designed to get you to the workshop as quickly as possible and to take you on a journey which unlocks some of the parts you’re going to need.”

In addition to the Corvette-class starships and all they entail, the 6.0 patch brings with it a number of bug fixes, quality of life additions, and optimization improvements. It also brings the Skyborn Exosuit and Skyborn Jetpack cosmetics as well as a new Twitch drops. Head to game’s website to check out the full patch notes.

Murray notes a fair amount of the technology that went into the Voyagers update is also being used for the studio’s next game, Light No Fire, which briefly appears in the deep-dive trailer. Revealed at The Game Awards in 2023, Light No Fire is an upcoming fantasy game that will present a singular shared, Earth-sized planet for players to explore. It’ll have “real oceans to traverse, needing large boats and crews. We love that we get to share this technology with players early,” Murray said.

While Light No Fire doesn’t have a release window yet, No Man’s Sky‘s Voyagers update launches today across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Windows PC, and Xbox platforms.
