Pavitra Punia, last seen in Discovery TV’s ‘Reality Rani of Jungle’ is all set to make her comeback on the fictional genre.

Pavitra Punia, known for her stint in shows like Bigg Boss 14, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and more is all set to make a comeback on the fictional genre with Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama after a brief hiatus of a year.
As per our sources, Pavitra has been roped in the show and will be seen essaying a pivotal role. ”Pavitra will be seen essaying the character of a ‘vishkanya’ in Tenali Rama,” the source reveals. Whether the actress’ character in the show will be a negative or a positive one is yet to be known. However, the actress has been loved and recognised for her portrayal of negative characters in a lot of her shows including Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Balveer, Daayan and more.
Tenali Rama sees Krishna Bharadwaj in the titular role and also sees other popular actors like Pankaj Berry, Manav Gohil and more. The show, first released in 2017, returned with a second season in 2024.

On the work front, apart from her fictional shows, Pavitra was last seen in Reality Ranis of the Jungle which also starred Bebika Dhurve, Varun Sood and other popular faces.
The actress, who was once in a relationship with her Bigg Boss 14 co contestant Eijaz Khan parted ways with the actor in 2024. While both Pavitra and Eijaz did not reveal much about what led to their fallout, the actress had indirectly called him a ‘narcissit’ as she said, ”Koshish karte rahe. Ab yeh baat main bahut auraton ko bolti hoon. Aurat submissive achi lagti hai, no doubt. Aurat fragile, feminine achi lagti hai, samjha mujhe.
