Paytm Q3 2025 results: One 97 Communications Ltd, the parent company of mobile payments giant Paytm, on Monday released its third quarter financial results for the financial year 2024-25.

The company’s revenue was 1,827.80 crore, which was a fall of 35.87 per cent or 1,022.70 crore, compared to 2,850.50 crore seen during the third quarter of the previous year.

However, its total loss narrowed down to 208.50 crore, compared to 221.75 crore earlier. This was an improvement by 5.95 per cent or 13.2 crore.

This is because the company’s total expenses fell by 30.98% from 3,216.3 crore in the third quarter of 2023-24 to 2,219.8 crore this quarter. This was a reduction in 996.5 crore worth of expenses.

A significant contributor to the company’s falling expenses was in payment processing charges, which saw a year-on-year fall of 41.92% or by 411.8 crore, going down to 570.4 crore from 982.2 crore earlier.

The company also spent significantly lesser on employee benefits. It spent just 716.3 crore, as compared to 1,187.2 crore before. This is a spending drop of 39.66% or by 470.9 crore.

How did Paytm’s shares perform?

One 97 Communications Ltd shares were trading in the green. At 11:40 am IST, the company’s shares were up by 0.36% or 3.20 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), trading at 902.85.
