Hyderabad: Downplaying BRS MLC Kavitha’s outburst over party affairs on Thursday, former MP and BRS senior leader B Vinod Kumar said political storms were common in parties and it was not the first or the last. He said he would try to speak to Kavitha and hoped the issue would be resolved soon.Reacting to the issue at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, Vinod Kumar said that after Kavitha’s media interaction, he realised her agony. He dismissed the notion that the party was considering giving a show cause to the BRS MLC. He said problems in families were not uncommon and even mentioned the case of former Tamil Nadu chief minister Karunanidhi’s family, which, he pointed out, had subsided later.On Kavitha’s allegation of BRS merger with BJP, he said the BRS had alliances with TDP, Communist parties and Congress earlier.“If BRS wanted an alliance, it would have aligned earlier,” the ex-MP said.Meanwhile, there has been no reaction from BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, BRS working president KT Rama Rao and ex-minister T Harish Rao. While KCR is in his Erravelli farmhouse, KTR is in the UK. Party sources said KCR has directed party leaders not to react to the Kavitha issue.
