Unni Mukundan’s action-packed film ‘Marco’ is surely the talk of the town for being the most brutal movie ever made in India. Now the ‘Company’ director Ram Gopal Varma has heaped praises for the movie and said that he has never heard any such shocking praises for any other movie than ‘Marco’.
Even though the ace Bollywood director is yet to watch the Unni Mukundan starrer, Ram Gopal Varma took to social media and wrote,“Never heard MORE SHOCKING PRAISE for ANY FILM more than #Marco film.. DYING TO SEE IT, and I hope I too won’t get killed by Unni Mukundan.”
Meanwhile, Haneef Adeni’s directorial has collected Rs 35.8 crores from India in just 10 days, and the share from the Hind-speaking regions amounts to Rs 80 lakhs. The movie has found an interest among the Hindi audiences and due to the same reason, the screen counts have been increased in the area. The makers will be also releasing the Tamil version of the movie.
Starring Unni Mukundan in the lead as the titular character ‘Marco’. The film is directed by Haneef Adeni and is a spin-off to the Nivin Pauly starrer ‘Mikhael’. Even though it’s not sure whether ‘Marco’ and ‘Mikhael’ are directly connected, the director has included the characters and even references in both films.
Although the film doesn’t rely much on its wafer-thin plot, the movie delivers what it promised to the audiences. The film’s second-half is said to be the most-brutal one which the Indian audiences has never witnessed before in any movies. Actor Kabir Duhan Singh’s stunning performance is another highlight of this action flick.
