Sixers name squad to face Scorchers

The Sydney Sixers have named a 14-player squad ahead of the side’s blockbuster match against long-time rivals, the Perth Scorchers, tomorrow at the SCG.
 
Australian superstar Steve Smith is set to make his first appearance in pink for the season, kicking off his three-match stint with the club, before departing for the Test series in Sri Lanka later this month.
 
The Sixers will be looking to get back on the winners list tomorrow afternoon on home turf, after falling to the Stars in Melbourne last night.
 
Last night’s match marked the final appearance this season for overseas recruits James Vince and Akeal Hosein, while uncapped leg-spinner, Jafer Chohan has been added to the extended squad and would make his Big Bash debut if selected to play tomorrow afternoon.
 
First ball of Saturday’s match at the SCG is scheduled for 4.45pm (AEDT) with gates open from 3.15pm. A limited number of tickets remain and are available HERE.
