Sylhet Titans, the new franchise in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), have signed Pakistani all-rounder Saim Ayub ahead of the players’ draft.

While local stars Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nasum Ahmed have already secured direct contracts, Ayub’s inclusion adds an international edge to the Titans’ squad.

The Titans’ coaching panel also promises surprises, with Imrul Kayes set to serve as batting coach for the first time in the BPL, while discussions are ongoing with Syed Rasel as bowling coach. Final confirmations are yet to be officially announced.

Sylhet Strikers had participated in the last three editions of the BPL. However, they did not express interest in taking franchise ownership for the next five years.

Cricket With Sami, Bangladesh’s first full-fledged sports management company, has long been working with players and is now the owner of the Sylhet franchise.
