The best Battlefield 6 Portal maps and codes are a healthy mix of unique modes and experiences you can play either solo or with friends. Or, if you want to open it up to everyone, you can make your server public.
These range from map recreations from other games, such as Call of Duty, to training courses and modes that change the way you play Battlefield 6 entirely. It’s very similar to Forge in the Halo series, which over the years was the basis for countless iconic experiences we remember fondly today. So while it’s early days for Portal in Battlefield 6, we’ll keep an eye out for any particularly exciting new creations to add to this list.
Without further ado, here are all the best Portal maps in Battlefield 6. Note that we’re not including any XP farms on this list; check out our guide on how to level up fast to find out how they work.
Shipment
Code: YHAR
Whether you’re a long-time Call of Duty fan or you’ve only played one or two installments, chances are you’re familiar with Shipment. The smallest map in the series’ history, this iconic locale takes place in a tiny shipping yard, with containers everywhere. Playing it in COD is pure chaos, so if you can get some more players to join you, no doubt it’ll be the same in Battlefield 6.
Although, I have enough hours in the various Shipment versions throughout COD to recognize this Battlefield 6 Portal recreation isn’t quite like-for-like, as a few of the container doors are open when they shouldn’t be and vice versa. That said, the overall layout is spot on.
Ace Pursuit
Code: X8XB
Fancy getting some jet practice in? Invite your pals and soar through this obstacle course, racing each other through the skies. It’s a great way to hone your skills when you take to the huge maps in multiplayer, and if you like, you can even try and shoot each other down as you pass through the checkpoints.
Project Osiris
Code: 2Z1E
Ever wished Battlefield had a zombies mode, inspired by Call of Duty’s? That’s exactly what Project Osiris is. Spawn in with just a pistol and your trusty knife, kill “zombies” (read: slow-moving enemy AI soldiers that can only melee attack), and earn cash to buy new weapons and unlock more of the map. There’s even a mystery box!
One thing to note, and that the creator also states in the description, is that this is very much a work-in-progress experience. On my first playthrough, none of the tooltips spawned, so I couldn’t see what I was buying, but they appeared on my second attempt. Enemy behaviour is still a little finnicky too, but it’s a very neat proof of concept.
Gungame
Code: CJ78
There’s a recurring theme here with COD-inspired maps and modes, and while gun game as a concept doesn’t originate from that series, it’s certainly found its way into many of its releases.
This Battlefield 6 version of gun game — stylized as “Gungame” by the creator — has a couple of differences, such as being a team-based mode rather than a free-for-all, and you must get two kills with each weapon before progressing, rather than just the one. It’s a great way to test out some weapons you may not have the chance to use in multiplayer yet and a fun experience overall.
Hardcore Conquest
Code: X7SB
Definitely one to play on a public server, Hardcore Conquest is exactly what it says on the tin. Conquest, but with a hardcore ruleset: increased damage, limited HUD, and closed weapon rules. If you want Battlefield 6 to be even more gritty, and dare I say realistic, this is the mode for you.
Additionally, I’d like to shout out Exfil (code: X8XC) and Besieged (code: X8XZ). The first is an extraction mode reminiscent of 2042’s Hazard Zone, while the latter is essentially a tower defense mode with incoming waves of enemies. However, I can’t test either of them out as they require four players at a minimum, so both are relegated to honorable mentions.
