You’re going to want to, seeing as these boxes contain some of the best gear the game has to offer.
The Outer Worlds 2 Advanced Decryption Keys can be found in various spots throughout Arcadia. Some are gated by quests, while others can be snagged at any point. Accessing certain keys may also require you to reach specific The Outer Worlds 2 skill thresholds, typically for things like Engineering, Hacking, and Lockpicking, so allocate points accordingly.

Paradise Island

| Fairfield | Complete the quest ‘Diabolical Drones of Doom’ and collect the key from the Bounty Terminal. |

| Fisherman Outpost | The outpost is located south-east of Fairfield. The key is found on a table inside the outpost building. |
| Sovereign’s Sweet Spire Grove | Found on top of a crate outside the Harvester Control Office (Requires double jump). |
| Sovereign’s Sweet Spire Grove | Found in a container on a jumping puzzle platform (Requires double jump). |
| Ministry of Accuracy | Found on a table in a locked room at the end of the area. Requires dropping down into a hole from above the room. The key is hidden under an Infantry Cap. |
| Corporate Outpost | The outpost is located just north of the Ministry of Accuracy. The key is found on a table inside the building with the jammed door (Requires Engineering 1 or the Brawny trait to open). |
| Euphoria Coast Automech Repair Center | Two keys are purchasable from Hazel’s Automated Wares and Repairs. |
| Skycutter A102 | The key is found inside a locked crate. Interacting with the crate will trigger the quest ‘Who Else But Us,’ which requires you to find and recover five Protectorate Armorial IDs from the corpses of Protectorate soldiers found throughout the Skycutter. |
| Substation | The substation is located just to the north-east of Skycutter A102. The key is inside a shipping container with an electric wall guarding it. Simply hit the switch on the container next to it to deactivate the wall (Requires Engineering 3 to access). |
| Westport | Purchased from the Requisitions Mech. |
| Campsite | The unmarked campsite is found directly west of Westport, almost directly between the town and the Bridge of the Reverent. Found on a container. |
| Paradise Island south coast | Two keys are found inside a building at Paradise Island’s southernmost point; one in a safe, and one on a bedside table. To access it, activate the power in the substation located to the north-west of the building (Requires Engineering 3, the Innovative trait, or the Substation Repair Kit to activate). |
| Vox Relay | Found in a hidden room. Head into the room adjacent to the room with the vendor and crafting bench before completing the ‘Find Access Point’ objective. The room is hidden behind a red wall with a desk in front of it. Hop up onto the desk to interact (Requires Observation 5). |
| Vox Relay | Two keys are found in De Vries’ safe room. Interact with the Vox Secure Connection Interface in the area’s final room to open it up. The keys are inside the container. |
