More and more evidence is pointing to the release of a new AMD budget gaming GPU in the very near future, with the latest leak revealing a Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card at a Brazilian retailer. According to the listing, the new graphics card has 16GB of VRAM, and also has a surprisingly large cooler attached to it.

While AMD has acknowledged that it has a cheaper GPU coming, no details have so far been officially shared about the 9060 XT. However, Radeon RX 9060 XT release date rumors point to the new GPU launching in the same week as the RTX 5060 release date. If that’s true, then there’s going to be a battle between Nvidia and AMD to make the best graphics card for gamers on a budget very shortly.

Unsurprisingly, the aforementioned listing from Brazilian retailer Terabyteshop has since been pulled, but not before tech site Videocardz took some snaps of it, with the listing including a specs list, as well as details of the new card.

Sadly, there’s little information about the processing power of the GPU, but the listing does claim that the card has 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and that it only needs a single 8-pin power connector, despite the Gigabyte card being an overclocked model.

Weirdly, however, the listing also says that this card requires an 850W PSU, which seems a bit over the top for a budget GPU with just one 8-pin power connector – we’d normally expect around 500W for a GPU at this level.

The cooler on the card is also massive for a budget gaming GPU, with three large Gigabyte Hawk fans located on the Gigabyte Windforce cooler, which protrudes beyond the two IO plates on the back. The listing also says the card’s cooler features a large vapor chamber.

As always with rumor stories, bear in mind that none of the above has been officially confirmed by AMD, so take it with a grain of salt for the moment, but the evidence is now very much pointing toward the Radeon RX 9060 XT being released sooner rather than later.
