The Merseyside jersey, usually bearing its sponsor Standard Chartered’s logo, saw the letters getting replaced with ‘Play ON’.
The British multinational bank and Liverpool are once again collaborating on a special initiative this year highlighting ‘Play ’ON’—a joint initiative designed to encourage young girls to stay involved in sport.

For select fixtures at Anfield in October, the ‘Play ON’ emblem will be visible on the players’ shirts.
What is Play ON?
The campaign, launched in 2023, aims to raise awareness about the barriers girls face in continuing sports participation and the positive impact it can have on their development and future opportunities.
