Tourist Family, the recently released Tamil film starring Sasikumar, Simran and others, have been performing well at the box office after opening to positive reviews upon its release. The comedy family drama is directed by Abhishan Jeevinth in his directorial debut. With JioHotstar bagging the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film, one can expect it to premiere sometime by the end of month.

Among the many releases in 2025 so far, Tourist Family is the latest to join the bandwagon of good films. Directed by newcomer Abhishan Jeevinth, the film released in theatres on May 1. With its good word of mouth, Tourist Family went on to become a commercially successful film too. Led by Sasikumar and Simran in the lead role, it is now Sasikumar’s highest grosser beating Sundara Pandian and Kutti Pulli. The makers had also released a deleted scene in which the Ayothi actor is seen dancing to his famous song Kondaadum Manasu from Sundara Pandian.

Now, as per the latest reports, Tourist Family is expected to premiere by the end of month. While the producers had already mentioned that one can expect the film to release by May end, the reports say that Tourist Family will release on May 31 on JioHotstar.
