Award season is in full swing after this month’s exciting Grammy and SAG awards’ ceremonies, the highly anticipated Oscars are next — next week that is.
Despite the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, the 97th Academy Awards will be held at its usual venue, the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.

When is the 2025 Oscars ceremony?
The 97th Academy Awards take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET.
The official live red carpet show airs at 6:30 p.m. ET., prior to heh awards ceremony.
Who will host the 2025 Oscars?
Conan O’Brien will be hosting the 2025 Academy Awards for the first time.
The Academy announced the host with a funny video clip of the comedian pretending to accept an Oscar. Jimmy Kimmel was the host for the ceremonies in 2023 and 2024.
Who will be presenting at the 2025 Oscars?
In keeping with tradition, the Academy has confirmed that last year’s acting winners Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr. and Da’Vine Joy Randolph will be returning this year as presenters for the 2025 Academy Awards.
Other stars who will be presenting are, include: Joe Alwyn, Ana de Armas, Halle Berry, Sterling K. Brown, Penélope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Lily-Rose Depp, Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Goldie Hawn, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Connie Nielsen, Amy Poehler, June Squibb, Ben Stiller, Oprah Winfrey and Bowen Yang.
Nick Offerman will serve as the announcer for this year’s ceremony.
Who will be performing at the 2025 Oscars?
Leading the list of performers announced so far for the 2025 Academy Awards show are “Wicked” stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. While all performances haven’t been announced yet, some other names confirmed so far are Doja Cat, Lisa of Blackpink, Queen Latifah and Raye
Who are the 2025 Oscars nominees?
The nominations were announced in January with “Emilia Pérez” leading the field with 13 nominations, followed by 10 nominations to “The Brutalist” and “Wicked.”

The event will be televised on ABC starting at 7p.m. Fans can also stream it on Hulu, YouTubeTV, AT&T TV, or FuboTV. Many of the streaming platforms offer a free trial.
