The first side quest you’ll be given in Phantom Blade Zero involves finding three herbs in the Weeping Creek Valley for Yu’er, the girl you met right at the start of the story. The Yu’er herb locations in Phantom Blade Zero are spread around the area, so you’ll need to do some hunting to get them all. Here are all the locations you’re looking for so that you can keep your new friend happy.

First Yu’er herb location – Blood Stopper Vine
The first herb you’ll be able to find for Yu’er is the Blood Stopper Vine, and you’ll be able to find it after you defeat the Axemaster and grab his huge axe Phantom Edge weapon.

Continue along the path towards the objective until you head through a decimated camp and reach a stone bridge. To the left of the bridge, there’s a path leading down to a stream. The herb is at the end of that stream, so just kill the enemies and grab the glowing orange orb in the water.

Second Yu’er herb location – Congealeaf
The second herb is called Congealeaf, and you’ll find it near the camp with the crane bell, which is represented by the Long Pillar Overlook fast travel point.

From that bell, follow over the wooden bridge and push the boulder off the cliff to kill some enemies. Then, go across the wall run, fight some enemies, and you’ll see the orange orb on the ground. That is the herb, so grab it.

Third Yu’er herb location – Blemish Goldweed
The final herb you need to get for Yu’er is called Blemish Goldweed, and you’ll find it near the Long Pillar in the area.

That Pillar is where you fight Donnie Yen’s character for the first time. You don’t need to enter the challenge to grab the herb, though. The orange orb you need to pick up is just down the river from there, on the right.
Once you have all three herbs, head back to Yu’er at the Outpost and give them to her for a medicine reward and a new quest.
