Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have made plenty of public appearances together this year—from awards shows and parties to tennis tournaments and even Coachella. But one place they opted not to show up as a couple was the 2025 Met Gala in New York City. Jenner went on her own, then both stars skipped the night’s after-parties for different reasons.
After the gala, Jenner decided to spend the rest of her evening out of the spotlight, although she shared one painful glimpse of her night post-fashion event. On her Instagram Story, she revealed, “Max [Ferragamo creative director Maximilian Davis] told me to tape my feet into the shoe. And now my feet are stuck in the shoes.”
She successfully got them out:
Chalamet, meanwhile, thoroughly documented his emotional Monday night on Instagram. He was watching the New York Knicks game with friends. At one point, he wrote in a since-deleted post, “shitting myself this game is insane.” (The Knicks ultimately won 108 to 105 against the Boston Celtics.)
Chalamet was recently seen partying in Miami over the weekend at F1 festivities. He and Jenner were there together and were spotted showing PDA in a nightclub.
Jenner and Chalamet have never attended the Met Gala together as a couple. Last year, Jenner made a solo appearance, while Chalamet skipped. His last appearance at the fashion event was back in 2021.
Jenner and Chalamet are open about their relationship, but they prefer not to make a spectacle of it. In an interview with ELLE for our November issue, Jenner explained why she values her privacy. “I think it’s important to keep things to yourself,” she shared. “It’s hard for me to make a decision by myself sometimes, so the opinion of the whole world…it can be tough.”
Sources have become more open about Jenner and Chalamet’s relationship this year. On February 27, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is “very in love, and their relationship is serious.” The source added, “Kylie is very proud of Timothée and has been happy to support him throughout this awards season.”
On January 30, an insider told Us Weekly that Jenner and Chalamet aren’t in a hurry to get engaged or married. Still, the source noted, “this is a very different relationship dynamic than what Kylie is used to. [It’s] opened her eyes to the more artistic side of the industry.”
Two weeks earlier, a source told Page Six that Jenner believes Chalamet is “the one.”
“[She] has never felt like this about anybody else before and definitely sees a future with him,” the insider revealed. “[She] feels like Timothée is so different from all her other exes she’s dated in the past.”
