Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S
CHENNAI: Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar S will receive the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (PBSA) for his contribution to the field of business (IT & consulting).
The award is the highest honour conferred on non-resident Indians (NRIs) and persons of Indian origin (PIOs).
President Droupadi Murmu will present the award to him during the valedictory session of the convention in Bhubaneswar on Jan 9. Ravi is among 27 people chosen for this prestigious award.
The PBSA is awarded based on the recommendations of a jury-cum-awards committee chaired by the Vice President of India, with the minister of external affairs as the vice-chair. The awardees represent the excellence achieved by the Indian diaspora in various fields.
