Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, had a sensational run in theatres. The Tamil action drama is set for its OTT premiere.
On May 03, 2025 (Saturday), the makers announced the OTT release date of the movie. Netflix India took to social media to share the news that Good Bad Ugly will drop on its platform on May 08, 2025 (Thursday). The movie will stream in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The movie, which became popular for several references from Ajith’s filmography, has collected over Rs 200 crore at the box office so far. Trisha Krishnan, Prasanna, Prabhu, Priya Prakash Varrier and Arjun Das were the other actors in the movie.
The Hindu review of the movie said, “Adhik has taken his biggest shot, and it could possibly be the best fan service Tamil cinema has ever seen. Even when it’s far from perfect and feels like a brass-knuckle punch to our senses, Good Bad Ugly is loving work of nostalgia.”
Good Bad Ugly is Ajith’s second release of the year. The actor also featured in Vidaamuyarchi, a road thriller directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The movie, released on February 06, 2025, starred Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra.
Ajith, who got back to his racing career after the release of Good Bad Ugly, was conferred with the Padma Bhushan recently. The actor received the honour at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi in the presence of his wife and actor Shalini.
