Mohali: Special counters for the investigation and treatment of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) have been set up in govt-run healthcare institutions in Mohali by the health department.

It started on Feb 20 and will continue till end of March. Door-to-door comprehensive outreach, multi-agency collaboration and real-time monitoring for effective implementation are the main objectives of the NCD screening dive.
District civil surgeon Dr Sangeeta Jain said special camps are also being held at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and other govt health institutions for 30 and above.TNN
