Looking to get a skateboard in Schedule 1? If you’re strapped for cash, shredding around town on a double-kick bit of wood is one way to speed up your drops, dodge the cops, and even knock over pedestrians if that’s what you want to do.
Elsewhere in the management game, you may also have trouble navigating the Schedule 1 map. Schedule 1 can be a complicated game, so being familiar with all the key locations will help you a lot.
How to get a Skateboard in Schedule 1
You can grab a skateboard from the Shred Shack on the north side of town. You’ll spot it nestled between Bud’s Bar and Pill-Ville opposite the Chinese Restaurant and the Arcade.
Take a look behind Jeff to see what’s for sale, then strike up a conversation to take your pick. With prices from $50 all the way to $1,500, there’s plenty to suit your budget or upgrade to as you go.
What’s the best Schedule 1 skateboard?
While there’s no in-game speedometer to confirm how much faster one board is over another, we put each to the test along the same stretch of road to see how they stack up.
Here’s a quick look at the immediate differences between each board, bearing in mind each board’s slightly different acceleration rate:
Board | Price | Speed (seconds from Point A–B*) |
Golden Skateboard | 1,500 | 5 |
Cruiser | 500 | 6 |
Lightweight Skateboard | 500 | 6 |
Skateboard | 250 | 7 |
Cheap Skateboard | 50 | 9 |
We tested each skateboard by riding from the top of the incline by Dan’s Hardware Store, stopping just as we reached the first set of street lights.
Although $500 boards like the Cruiser and Lightweight Skateboard have max speeds similar to the Golden Skateboard that costs triple the price, buying the luxary option will also unlock the Rolling in Style achievement.
Just know that no Schedule 1 board can glide up kerbs and onto the sidewalk. You’ll always need to ollie up these no matter how fast you’re going.
