The Government of India has launched Phase 2 of the PM Internship Scheme (PMIS) to provide internship opportunities to young Indian citizens. Eligible candidates can apply online at pminternship.mca.gov.in before March 31, 2025.
The internship will last 12 months, including 6 months of hands-on training. Selected interns will receive a ₹5,000 monthly stipend and a one-time grant of ₹6,000. Applicants must be Indian residents aged 21-24 years, unemployed, and should have completed at least Class 10. Their family income must not exceed ₹8 lakh per year.

PM Internship Scheme Phase 2: Key internship roles
The scheme offers internship opportunities across various educational backgrounds. The distribution of roles in Phase 2 is as follows:
- Graduates (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, etc.) – 37,000 roles
- ITI Holders – 23,000 roles
- Diploma Holders – 18,000 roles
- 12th Pass Candidates – 15,000 roles
- 10th Pass Candidates – 25,000 roles
