T-Series on Friday unveiled the first song from the upcoming film Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn as a crusading income tax officer. The song, titled “Nasha,” features Tamannaah Bhatia gyrating to the tunes of White Noise Collectives. Set in some kind of den, the music video features Tamannaah dancing to an audience made up entirely of men, many of whom are drinking straight out of bottles. The character that Tamannaah is playing tells the men that they needn’t drink alcohol, because if they must get drunk, they should get drunk on her.
“Nasha je tu karle tu mera kar soneya,” she sings in Punjabi, as the men surrounding her lose their minds. Tamannaah’s character sounds extremely confident about her sexuality, as she invites Riteish Deshmukh’s villainous character to ‘consume’ her with his eyes. “Main hoon sari ki saari teri, mujhe nazron se aap khaiye,” she sings, looking at him. Ritesh’s character is joined by a henchman, played by Govind Namdev.

The song is written by Jaani, and has been performed by Jasmine Sandlas, Sachet Tandon, Divya Kumar, Sumontho Mukherjee. Tamannaah has made a name for herself with blockbuster dance numbers in recent years. In 2023, she appeared in “Kaavaala,” a hit number from the Rajinikanth-starrer Jailer. The song was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and Tamannaah’s moves became an online rage. But she experienced even bigger success last year, with the song “Aaj Ki Raat,” composed by Sachin-Jigar.”
In an interview with Grazia last year, Tamannaah admitted that living up to the success of her past songs was a risky idea. “On the heels of Kaavaalaa’s success, doing the song for Stree 2 felt very risky. I thought, ‘Will I be able to top what I’ve already done?’ But when Amar (Kaushik) met me and said, ‘I have this song for you, and it’s actually very crucial to the storyline,’ I just instinctively knew I had to do it,” she said. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid 2 will be released on May 1.
