We’re hours away from Hollywood’s biggest night. The 2025 Oscars kick off March 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and we’ve already begun live blogging all the unmissable moments.
Demi Moore (“The Substance”), Cynthia Erivo (“Wicked”), Ariana Grande (“Wicked”), Timothée Chalamet (“A Complete Unknown”), Colman Domingo (“Sing Sing”) and Adrien Brody, (“The Brutalist”) are among the night’s nominees.
In an Oscars tradition, this year’s awards presenters will include some of last year’s big winners: Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone and Da’Vine Joy Randolph will present.
Conan O’Brien will host this year’s Oscars ceremony, marking the first time the comedian and former talk show host will emcee the awards show broadcast.
Former “Parks and Recreation” star Nick Offerman will serve as the night’s announcer.

The live broadcast of the Oscars begins at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT.
You read that right: 7 p.m., not 8 p.m. as they have been in prior years. Last year’s ceremony also had an early start time.
How long do the Oscars last?
The Oscars are slated to span for three and a half hours, ending around 10:30 p.m. ET.

You can watch the 2025 Oscars live on ABC. For the first time ever, the ceremony will also stream live on Hulu.
Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the 2025 Oscars are broadcast live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in Los Angeles at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The official red carpet show will start at 6:30 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
Among the most-nominated films are “Emilia Pérez” with 13 nominations, and “Wicked” with 10. The list of performers include Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, Queen Latifah, Raye and Doja Cat, among others. The ceremony will also feature a special appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
